Monique Hawthorne, Psy.D.
Monique Hawthorne works as a postdoctoral fellow who completed her Psy.D. in the School- Clinical Child Psychology Program at Pace University. During her program, Monique was able to gain experience working with individuals who had HIV, dealt with substance abuse, and experienced domestic violence. She has worked in a plethora of settings during her training, including inpatient hospitals, a residential treatment center, outpatient clinics, schools, a city hospital, and a college counseling center. During this time, she has gained experience counseling and assessing children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders. She enjoys community outreach and is excited to be a part of Mind and Motion.
